Job Title: Data and Privacy Analyst

Job Summary:
A Privacy Analyst manages the legal and operational risks around sensitive and critical information assets by assessing business operations on a continual basis, developing the right policies, procedures, and training programs, and overseeing all data agreements.
Essential Functions:
· Assist in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of global privacy policies, procedures, requirements and notices.
· Assist in conducting annual assessments of global privacy programs, identify areas of opportunities and design and implement improvements to help ensure compliance with global privacy laws.
· Assist in developing and delivering, with input from key stakeholders, enterprise-wide and role-based privacy training.
· Support the day-to-day operations of the Data Subject Rights program.
· Assist in maintaining records of processing activities and data processing inventory.
· Engage and liaise with other legal and business teams to provide guidance on and ensure privacy considerations are integrated into project planning and day-to-day operations.
· Provide privacy guidance and requirements to business teams for the onboarding & offboarding of third-party vendors.
· Assist in managing and maintaining privacy metrics reporting.
· Assist in managing external-facing Contact Privacy inbox.
· Managing teams implementing Data Governance tools with a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out.
· Understanding of data privacy, data protection and regulatory aspects of data governance, such as creating and implementing a data rights framework, including contractual requirements, controls set, etc.
· Understanding of data privacy and data protection including applicable regulations and the handling of sensitive information.
· Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management, including retention management.
· Understanding of privacy, protection and information governance data discovery tools (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, Microsoft etc.).
· Possessing knowledge and experience with overall data architecture, profiling, quality, metadata management etc.
· Leading evaluation of new solutions and services, providing a business case on whether the firm should develop skills and vendor relations within new Data Governance solutions and technologies
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Strong understanding of information security and data protection.
· One of more IAPP certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) preferred.
· Familiarity with US, EU, and other global privacy laws and regulations, such as CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
· Experience supporting privacy and consent management, individual rights, compliance processes, policies, reporting and controls.
· Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to develop and articulate strategy for process improvement.
· Works effectively as a team member
· Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university; experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
· A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles, preferably in a regulated industry or highly complex environment.
